Marrone Organic Grows With $3.75 Million Series A

DAVIS, CA  -- Marrone Organic Innovations, Inc. announced that is has raised $3.75 million in an oversubscribed series A round of investment.

Founded by Dr. Pam Marrone, the company discovers and develops natural products for weed, disease and pest management.  It recently launched its first product, GreenMatch(TM)O, a natural weed control for organic farming.

Investors in the round were leader Clean Pacific Ventures, One Earth Capital, Saffron Hill Ventures, Calvert Social Investment Fund, Wavepoint Ventures and prominent angel and agricultural investors.
